Earthquake and Tsunami report by BMKG
Our newly-developed automated system for rapid determinations of earthquake source parameters (SWIFT system), installed in BMKG (formerly BMG), successfully obtained the detailed source parameters of this earthquake (focal mechanism, moment magnitude, source centroid location, and moment function) in 13 minutes after the occurrence of the earthquake. The obtained earthquake information played an important role of the earthquake and Tsunami report of BMKG.
