For the operation of the SeisComP3, SWIFT and SWIFT-TSUNAMI systems at NIED we use continuous real time seismic data recorded from nearly 430 broadband seismic stations deployed in the Asia-Pacific and Caribbean regions. Most of real-time seismic data used in our systems are available from the Data Management Center of IRIS (https://ds.iris.edu/ds/nodes/dmc/), from the GFZ German Research Centre for Geociences (https://geofon.gfz-potsdam.de/waveform/), as well as from local networks in Brasil (http://www.sismo.iag.usp.br/) and New Zealand (https://www.geonet.org.nz/). We also use data from the national seismic networks of the Republics of Indonesia and Philippines in the framework of research collaborations with BMKG (http://www.bmkg.go.id/) and PHIVOLCS (http://www.phivolcs.dost.gov.ph/).
For any seismic data request please refer to the original data sources.
